West side trails in winter?

I'm no stranger to winter MTB conditions but most so those of the east side (think Stoney or ILRA). How are the trails around here now that we are seeing some actual winter conditions? Any trails which would be freindly to a 29er with studs (or without!), or are we in fat tire only country now?

you can try the white pine trail, i dont know the schedule but it gets plowed sometimes. I did it last night during the snow it was fun. 26er.

If it's super packed down or powder the skinny bikes do just fine and usually better than fat bikes.

It's a total blast...but what's better is riding the Lake itself on the pack ice. To do that, you have to hook up with a local and go when the weather is just right...but the Beach is almost always ridable.

Robinette's is close to GR and open, but is the least fun trail in the area. Luton Park is open, Fort Custer is open, Yankee Springs is open, CSGA is about to open. With frozen ground and a up to a few inches on the ground, they are all rideable.
