PLRA night ride comparison

It feels like last year there were more PLRA night riders than this year. Why?

Bad timing, maybe? I did two laps last evening and didn't see a soul. Parking lot was entirely empty when I got there, and when I packed up and left. You apparently rode too and didn't see anyone? That, and it's been brutally cold the last few evenings with the high winds. It's much easier to sit on the couch and just mail it in.

I didn't ride yesterday, felt like being pre-sick and decided to stay home. But during the weekdays did at least 3 rides after 6. My blue subaru often left alone on a parking lot too :)
