I can coast just like on a geard bike, it's a SS not a fixed geard. I just don't know if I can get up enough speed in that section, still hit it straight on and get up to the top. Eventually I will probably give it a shot but for now I will just admire how pretty it is.

Is this chapter still operational? I just moved here from North Carolina and am looking to ride this afternoon around 4:30.

Is this a hard trail? I don't really care for climbing.

This is kind of a locals only trail. You can come out if you want but don't expect anybody to hold your hand or draw you a map. It's the toughest trail by far in the state with miles and miles of climbing, nasty three to five foot drops, and wicked fast decents so you beter have a fs bike with at lest 5 inches of travel!

See you at 4:30 North Carolina boy!

Nope, I am focusing on maybe making the transition into gravity powered cycling....

Guess everybody was out trick or treating today, only one other person on the trails. Nice day for a ride.

I was gonna come down. My parts came in and took me a bit to install. I didn't have enough daylight left, so I just snuck in 5 miles in Owosso before dark.

Good day for it. Not too many of them left. :-(

Beautiful day weather wise today Anne, too bad the trails are still covered with leaves. I am pretty sure we are going to try a different approach next year with an adopt a trail system. I already know a few people who are on board too.

I bet if you threw some studs on that Mukluk it would make one heckuva leaf collector. Prolly make leaf lowers obsolete.

I wish the assistant TC would go out there and do something about it!

I think the fact that the leaves were lowered is the problem. Eliminating the leaf lowers would be helpful!
