We are going to try something new for this year.
Because so many members are doing individual trail work during unorganized events, and to reduce the amount of paperwork required for the TCs, we are asking our volunteers to take a moment and record their own hours.
The document is a Google based spreadsheet. It is my belief that you are not required to have a Google account, or sign-up for any sort of account. All you need is the following link:
http://midstate.mmba.org/trailhours
There is also a link in my signature line.
After doing any trail work, go to the form andfill in: Your name, date work was performed, number of hours worked, what you did, organized or not, and acknowledge that you did indeed sign a waiver. YOU ARE REQUIRED TO SIGN A WAIVER FOR EACH WORKDAY!
The waiver can be found here:
http://mmba.org/library/State%20Busines ... enance.pdf
This data will be logged on a separate protected form.
This is a trial program, so please bear with it. If you have any questions or comments, please direct them to midstate@mmba.org
If you don't feel comfortable putting your full name on the sheet, just put first name, last initial and send a message to the above address.
Thank you, and I hope this helps record a highly productive season on trail building, and maintenance.
Here is a good thread explaining the trail hours and benefits: http://www.mmba.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=100971
