I did this last year. There were quite a few people, a very large turn out I'd say, and well stocked at the rest stops. Very well run. The roads were mostly low traffic.
Bike Rider is correct. I've done this ride for quite a few years and it's always very well organized and fun. They always have a large turnout. They changed the route last year; now takes you on parts of Huron River Dr., which, in my opinion, was the bumpiest part of the route (by Belleville?) and with the most cars. Other than that, the route was good. Be sure to stop and have a pancake.
