Looking for people to ride with in or around the surrounding area. I live on the south side of Ypsi near the high school. Group rides, road, cyclocross, mountain... Anybody have a lead for me? Thanks, Russ.
Hey Russ. I've been riding from home after work on most Tuesdays and Thursdays. About 6-6:30 ish depending on when I get home from work. Lots of options. Tuesday we (my wife and I) do a casual pace dirt road ride north out of Ypsi then west into A2 then typically back through Gallup. About a 10-13 mph pace with stops. I have a couple of friends that meet on Tuesdays for a semi-fast A2 local loop as well. Thursday is my faster "training" ride. Usually on a CX doing mix of paved and dirt roads with some single track thrown in for good measure. I try to hit as many climbs as possible. Roughly a 15-16 mph pace 35-40 miles in 2-3 hours. I'm on the SE side a mile east of Depot town. Let me know if you're interested. -Nate
Just rode to Rolling Hills and into A2 yesterday. The dirt roads are great around here. Buy Dirt Road Washtenaw - https://www.facebook.com/pages/Dirt-Roa ... 6651763128. Great info on the local dirt roads. A must own for this area. I'm going to organize an informal CX training ride at Rolling Hills staring in September. Maybe Tuesday or Wednesday nights around 6:30. I'll post it under the group rides section.
Hey, I live between Saline and Rolling Hills. I'm interested in doing a group ride (road) or mountain at Rolling Hills. Group ride around 25 road miles after work Any interest? Steve
Also interested in a group ride, dirt roads and/or trails. I had thought different DRW routes would be a good weekly/monthly group ride, but always seem a little to busy to set anything up.
