I don't think a single clip-on rear fender is much, really.

Ended up Amazon Priming some... Dry Fred it is!

I'll probably only run the rear, but if it's down pouring I'll run both.

Fenders will be pointless if no one else around you has them, unless of course you are in the front the whole time. Plus if you had to pick one I would go with front. That is going to help the most with keeping your eyes clean and the mud out of your mouth. The rear fender is really more of a courtesy to everyone else around you and to keep the rooster tail off your back. Both of which should be a non issue in a race.

I'll be way in the back with the slow guys. :D

But as fatbikers, we are a more kind and gentle bunch, so we run fenders for the benefit of our brethren  I have the MOM and DAD sks fenders for a little more coverage- combined, they weigh less than a pound. If I'm that concerned about 400g, I shouldn't be "racing" a fatbike.

I'm just using the fenders to protect my saddle.
And it isn't the weight of fenders that bothers me, it's the wind drag (on the front if full coverage) and the rattling or slipping, especially in B-R conditions.
Fixed Gear: Soul Cycles 2010 Icon 650b'r, Gary Fisher 1991 ProCaliber 26'r...and a 2012 Pugsley.
Everything I ride makes sense.

Can anyone post an address to enter into a GPS to get me to the parking lot for the race? Never driven out that way and really don't want to get lost. Coming from Lansing if that matters.

You should be able to enter Yankee Springs State Recreation Area into the navigation and it will take you right there.

Thank you. I wasn't sure that this would be the correct thing to enter.

I feel pretty dumb. Just looked at the Barry-Roubaix site, and the address is listed right under the FAQ. Ooops.

I'm racing a 29x2.3 tubeless rigid and weigh 220lbs. 2 weeks ago, I rode the 35mile course + 1.5 miles at 30PSI. Time was 2 hr, 55min.
Last week, rode just the course with 50 psi and had a time of 2hr, 31min.

Yeah, I'm going with 50-55psi most definitely.
