Thanks Dan, it was a general comment, lol. I didn't say "we could do a scene".

I think women who mountain bike are hot. No matter the shape or the size. But any woman who mountain bikes, who gets muddy and sweaty, who hits the technical trails with confidence and come out in one piece, even if she is the last person to cross the finish line at a race... THAT'S HOT!

Guys:

How many of you wishes your girlfriend or wife hit the trail with you? Or by herself? Or do at least one race so you can say " that's my woman"!
How many of you single, available guys would love to find a single, available woman who mountain bikes? How important is that "attribute" for you? 8)

OK... back on topic.

Part 1
Whether a woman is considered "HOT" has more to do with the whole package and not just whether she gets dirty or not. I do believe that for me she would have to beable to go out and get dirty (MTBing or other activity) and not care that she's dirty, but also clean up nice.

Part 2
I really don't care if my girlfriend or wife would hit the trail with me unless she raced and/or had the endurance to ride more than one lap at a reasonable pace. For me... the fun in MTBing is the intensity.

I would say most girls that are outdoorsey don't mind getting dirty and then play dress up when need be. I personally wear dress up clothes all day long so its nice to get on a pair of shorts and a tank top and ride and get dirty. The endurance thing comes in time.

Yes, getting back on topic - My wife and I got into riding together after we picked up a couple of cheap bikes for getting around the neighborhood and then discovered trail riding was so much fun. So, I've never had a time where she wasn't my riding partner, or post-ride drinking partner for that matter.

Riding together is a wonderful way to bond with your couple. Stamina and endurance improves for both in the trail and in the bed. So go riding with your women guys!

Paynful: good for you! Don't settle for a woman you don't go completely ga-ga over her!

"...to bond with your couple."?

Are you implying he's been trolling /cas/ for biking partners?

No matter how hot or not a women is to begin with she instantly gets hotter the minute she hits a trail. To me it shows a zest for life that I can relate to. She does not have to go fast or jump high. As long as she rides to satisfy her urge to ride than I'm impressed. Whether it is seeking fitness, love of the forest or just the awesome feeling of your bike rolling under you. Our sport is not always easy. Getting off the couch and putting all the gear together and driving to a trail takes time money and energy. Those who recocognize the the payback are healthier not only in body but in spirit as well. And of course what you feel on the inside shows on the outside. Therefore again, making women who ride even hotter.
It's not your strength or skill. It's your level of commitment.

You said that really well. My wife rides for fitness, and because she enjoys it. The accomplishments that she has achieved from when she started are a bonus for her.
