riders for photos

Postby Bryan_Mitchell » September 16th, 2010, 12:28 pm

I'm looking for some mountain bike riders in SE & west Michigan (guys and girls) to photograph on the trails.
-You need to be able to ride in the middle of the week during the morning and early afternoon.
-Don't mind being out on the trail for a few hours starting and stopping a bunch. Yes we ride but its more about the photos.
-Any ability is fine but if you corner real well at speed thats a plus.
-If you can ride stunts on a FR rig and/or a XC bike (like log rides at Novi or Holdridge) let me know.
-I plan to drive out to Custer and Yankee at some point.
-send me a message at bryan@bryanmitchell.com of days you are available, what trails you are near and I will send more details.
-I'm making a list right now

I'm still working on details and dates/times but this is mainly to update my bike image files (and maybe portfolio- with a goal to get 1-2 real nice images from each shoot)
No plans to publish anywhere at this point
What better time of the year to do this then late summer/fall in Michigan.

The fall time is a perfect time for pictures in the woods. Too bad I'll be hunting.

If you go on a thursday or friday let me know. I ride with my Border Collie. He runs next to me and it makes for some good photos. He does some stunts as well. I have not got him doing skinnies yet.
It's not your strength or skill. It's your level of commitment.

I ride all the skinnies at holdridge, but I don't ride during the day much because I am at work. If you ever get out there during the evening or weekend I'd be glad to help you out.

I thought it was a rule that all MTB pictures were shot at dawn and in the nude. Of course i could have been in the wrong circles. We have such a secret darkside in our sport of choice.
