Pontiac Lake Recreation Area Trail Day April 10

Postby compacted_graphite » April 6th, 2010, 12:57 pm

There will be a trail maintenance day at Pontiac Lake Recreation Area on Saturday, April 10, 2010. We will be meeting at the main parking lot trail head at 9 AM. Participants should bring hiking shoes, safety glasses, water to drink, and leather work gloves. We will be doing trim work and erosion control. We will not be building new trails. Questions? Please call the trail coordinator Dave Boboltz 248-736-7145.

Yes, the Metro Nprth trailer will be at this event. However, we do not have enough tools for everyone- so please plan to bring rakes, shovels and the like if you have them.

It is still $24 until Oct1 when the new passport law comes into effect. So... if you want to wait until Oct, its only $7 per day.
