bike patrol seminar updates

Postby bOOger » April 2nd, 2005, 2:15 pm

Hello all,
planning is in full gear for the 205 MMBP training seminar. there have been a few changes tha i want to inform everyone about.
1) New venue: waterford activity center- see www.county.oakland.mi.us for directions. this will be the location for sunday 4/10. Saturday will still be at PLRA headquaters begginning at 9 AM.
2) agenda changes- due to scheduling conflict with the waterford activity center, we will be changing the format. As of now, saturday will be the patrol protocol seminar on patroller reswponsibilities, trailside maintenance, and user interaction/communication. sunday will be the CPR first aid seminar.

if you have a conflict PLEASE email patrol@mmba.org and we can work out a resolution.

THANKS see you all saturday 4/9 at 9 AM

AAARGH! Will there be any other times this year for the bike patrol class? I am taking my son to the Supercross at the Silverdome on that day. I don't need any CPR/First Aid stuff as I am already MFR and CPR/AED certified. I do need the stuff from the second day (which is now the first day).

I tried to tell him :(

Bill lets just keep it the way it was at PLRA and we will deal with the limited size till next year, Too many people have made plans and at this late a time we should not change our sech.

All kidding aside, I'm getting confused about what is happening when and where.

So, I'll paraphrase a previous person.

Where are we meeting on Saturday and what is on the agenda?

Where are we meeting on Sunday and what is on the agenda?

Also, what should we be bringing each of these days? (Aside from ourselves and our bikes)

My bike will be in the shop, so is the bike for a post ride or will we need it for the actual training?
