Brighton Trail Maintenance Sunday Oct. 24 9:30am

Postby Pruski » October 19th, 2004, 7:50 am

The Poto Chapter is planning a maintenance day to prepare the Torn Shirt and Murray Lake Trails for Winter. This includes creating water 'bars' (actually, ditches) and deberming newly formed ruts. These techniques will stabilize a majority of the trail. There are a few areas that will require re-routes that we would like to address next spring. There is a lot of work to be done, so please attend if you can!

Details-
Meet at Bishop Lake Parking Lot at 9:30 on Sunday Oct 24.
Bring: Water, work gloves, protective eyewear. Pick ax (Pulaski) if you have one.
We will be providing considerable amount of tools for this maintenance.
