can anyone come?

Anyone can come....be prepared to introduce yourself as your board nickname and your "real" name. It was originally started as a way to put nicknames and faces together.

Hopefully they'll get Cris Santos back or some other trials riders.

Hmmm... it does have a nice ring to it: Bulletin Board Biker Bash and Boozefest.

 I nominate Andrea to spearhead the BBBBB

Let's call it the BBBBBBB (B7):
the Bulletin Board Biker Bash, Boosefest and Backroad Boogie (isn't "backroad" one word anyway?)

Only the coolest annual bbq and MTB party around....It began a few years ago as a way for MMBA BB members to have an informal meet and greet. It has turned into a nice little fundraising event for the SE chatper MMBA.

I would be more than happy to help anyway I can.

It is usually planned after all the MMBA CPS races...and when we could all still ride in teh season. The committee will be determining the date.

BTW anyone who wants to help PLEASE SHOOT ME AN E-MAIL so I can add you to the e-mkail list.

This is a SE Chapter event. It's a nice change of pace to have it at other SE Chapter trails..

I believe that any other location other than Lakeshore Park would be unwise - seeing that alcohol is NOT ALLOWED in any DNR or Metropark, but IS ALLOWED AT LAKESHORE PARK.

I want to bring my Brass Monkey to the party!

I think you can have booze in the picnic area's at the metroparks, but I'm not positive.
I'll check into it a little more.

I for one dont think the location should be changed, it introduces a lot of people to lakeshore park that might not otherwise come out, and it is a fun place to have a party with things for everyone to do including kids (sorry Laura)

No Wingzz, it is only by your rules that booze are allowed in the picnic areas... I can't be positive, but I think that I have seen signs at every park I've been to prohibiting alcohol.

:!: On another note though, I would be more than happy to lend a hand at this event. Just inform me as to what you want me to do.
