Yeah, that's nothing compared to what someone said to me at the Tree Farm last week.

Jeremy and I just finished walking the new piece of trail. It's going to be nice! There's a lot to do out there so we'll need all the help we can get, but it's going to really round out the trail nicely. Please come on out and help CRAMBA build another .7 miles of trail!

Honestly, it mostly depends on the schedules of those setting it up, other social events, etc. This one just happened to be a Sunday because thats what worked best for most of us. Any help is appreciated, though!

Thanks to everyone who came out today and helped! We got roughly half of the new return trail, but the hardest-to-build part of it (the large bench cut seen above) is done. There's still a bunch more clearing and work needed along the Clinton-Kalamazoo Canal ridge and back at normal ground level, so we'll have to keep on with that and possibly have another trail day before it'll be complete.

We also got an advanced line built along some of the original trail, and that can be seen here. It's a drop to a downhill, then a berm, then a sweeping turn and climb back up to rejoin the trail.

Here's a few more photos from today:

Nice pic's Steve....but you should get Jeremy's picture of that area before we bench cut that side hill, to
really appreciate the amount of work that went into that section. My old azz back was not so good this morning,
thank god for good drugs. Give me a shout, and I will come out and clear the rest of that deadfall for you, there
is still quite abit to remove.

What size is the drop? Looks to be about 2.5 feet? Nice. If so it's the tallest one in the immediate area aside from stony bandit stuff and holdridge tech loop. I don't think the few at Highland are any higher than 2.5 feet.

It's only about 18", but there is a downhill after it so depending on speed you could make it much larger. It's very, very well built as well.

Steep and long tranny, you'll be able to really stretch it out. It's the largest legit one in the area for sure.
