Poto reroute trail day

Postby G.Cook » October 5th, 2012, 10:28 pm

We will be doing a reroute for the mud hole before the Gosling Lk. access rd. boardwalk.
Day; 10/13/12
Time; 10am-2pm
Where;Gosling Lk. access rd.
Bring gloves, water and dress appropriately for working in and around noxious plants. Maybe a snake bite kit if we run into a very perturbed rattler .
Please post up if your gonna work it so we can get you a Pulaski.
If we get enough to eat a bakers dozen of donuts I will bring a box from Pinckney Bakery and some OJ. Bring your own coffee.
More folks the quicker the work. It really works out well that way.

We meet at the end of the access rd. just before the long boardwalk coming off the Gosling loop.

Ahh, the end of the Gosling loop, the road with the cul-de-sac at the end (coming in from Patterson), got it.

I'll be there. Bringing a friend. Gonna do a loop at 8:00 beforehand (starting at the access road) if anyone wants to join.

I'll be there. Dave, I'm planning to ride too, unless weather is real nasty.

Please bring donuts! I'm good for a few of 'em.

If the weather is nasty I wouldn't blame anyone for bailing. I will be out regardless just to finish what was started today by sisu and I . Enough to make it pass able and then perhaps fine tune it next week as Sun looks like more of the same. But I will bring the donuts

Change of plans, I won't make it. Looks like it'll be raining, but that's not why I'm bailing. Gonna go on the "backwards day" ride at Highland, never tried that, and I can sleep in a bit longer.

Interested in helping out on future trail work though.

Gosling Lk. mud hole before the access rd. is no more. A huge thanks to a great Poto trail crew that really showed up for the work despite the rain and got the job done in no time. Excellent work gentleman, excellent.
Next time Salsa , chips and more beer would be the order of the day for post trail work.
