As many here may already know, the trail separation agreement at Fort Custer is inching closer to being finalized. The SWMMBA began cutting new trail yesterday and we're putting out the call for anyone interested and willing to help us cut a lot more. The plan is to have trail days every Saturday in October and into November. We'll meet every Saturday at 9am at the trailhead and go from there. If you have a rake, McLeod, loppers, or any other tools that would come in handy, please bring them.
The 1/2 mile of trail that was cut yesterday looks fantastic and the plan is to cut a heck of a lot more great singletrack. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Nice! Wish I was closer. Maybe I can finagle one Saturday to take a long trip out there.

Is the new section of trail going to be OFF LIMITS to horses? Seems it should be since its being built just for trail separation. Sure would be a shame for them to tear up a brand new trail that was built to be horse-free
