Corktown Pumptrack

Postby detroitjon » May 9th, 2011, 11:35 pm

Last year, some MMBA members helped build a pump track in Corktown with a couple residents who have since moved along. As a result, we're hoping to find some bikers who have pump track expertise that can help move the project along. The Greening of Detroit is running a big open space program in North Corktown and can provide materials, organizational support and volunteers for anything the pump track or site might need.

In any case, it's on city land and open to the public right at corner of Cochrane and {edit: Sycamore}, feel free to come by and ride sometime.

That's the spot, I did indeed have the wrong roads. It's a nice neighborhood (North Corktown) and good neighbors. Definitely a safe spot for riding.
