Addison Oaks Spring Cleanup - Postponed

Postby utabintarbo » February 28th, 2011, 2:35 pm

On Saturday the 2nd of April (rain date 4/3) we are going to hold our spring cleanup out at Addison Oaks. We will assess the status of the trail and do some trimming and leaf/ice removal to allow the trail to warm-up and drain.

I will try to get out there during the week before to determine best tools for the job, but you can assume garden rakes and loppers will be heavily represented in the list. Just staking my claim to the date. Please mark your calendar :)

Will the MMBA provide some tools for some of us that still don't own a home and have no use for such tools as a rake or loppers...

If I can get someone to bring the trailer, that's no problem. Otherwise, I'll figure out something. Fear not, young weedhopper. :D

We'll figure something out. I have a couple personal extras. I even have another donation for the trailer that I plan to bring to the 1st trailday of the year.

Due to persistent ice and snow on the trail, it is necessary to postpone this trail day. :(

I will be re-scheduling sometime in the near future (likely after some warmer weather), so please stay tuned!
