River Bends single track, double track, and paved paths have been added to OpenStreetMap: link.

Let me know if there are any bugs/quirks that need fixing, or just fix them yourself.

Rode the Blue trail for the first time yesterday, with my son in tow... It is all rideable. The trail is partly washed away at the stream crossing, so we had to enter very close to the 3 logs across the stream.. He caught his pedal and fell in (subtle chuckle to myself), I was standing there as a precaution, so I pulled him out, but he was soaked from the waist down... It looks like the stream has eaten away the right side of the trail there though. It doesn't seem to get a lot of riders judging by the surface (but that could be because it floods so often). Anyway I spilled on a root later- guess I didn't deserve any compassion after being amused by a soggy 10 year old! He was a trooper though.. We finished the blue and yellow trains after that! 8)

Beautiful out there this evening, although we skipped the lower part of the Seasonal Loops. Trail is dry and firm, which means some of the corners are getting a bit loose, especially the off camber ones.

Looks like someone (I wonder who...) has trimmed a bunch of the seasonal loops as well, including some of the smaller side trails. It's excellent out there.

Sweet riding Saturday.
I rode Saturday morning about 7:30, something big growled at me, has anyone seen anything out there? I ran into the Mtn. Lion/Puma/Lynx/BobCat a year ago. But this growl sounded more like a Coyote or something burrowed in a tree bed, right in the area where you first drop down close to the River and right before you go up and around that large tree trunk (the trunks on your right). Great explanation I know but there was something HUGE there and it was *beep*! I was riding.
I warned some others walking their dogs because it was LOUD and sounded big.

I'd guess coyote. There are a number of them in the area. I got a photo of one at Holland Ponds a couple years ago. I haven't seen/heard such a thing myself, but I did have a deer come after me once while riding in the dark...

You may have stumbled upon a Coyote den with pups in it, that would be about the only time
a Coyote would stay around to growl at you. They tend to not like humans and run the other way. There
are many animals that will growl when startled or cornered...but there is nothing HUGE that lives in
Southern Mi that will growl at you. You can rule out Lynx in your cat sighting, as there are no wild Lynx in Southern
Michigan and are extremely rare even in the U.P., they are also protected in MI. If you saw a Couger/ Mt. loin
you would know it, when you see somthing that big (8-10 ft. head to tip of tail) there is no mistaking it. We spotted
one while MTBing in Cali up on a cliff above us watching and following us. We left the area and reported to the local
game warden, who closed that section of trail. What you most likely saw was a Bobcat, which is still really cool
because wild cats in general are very secretive animals. I can count on one hand the Bobcats I have seen in 30+
years of hunting.
