As of 1/5 the trail is rideable, but very slow. Trail could use some packing down. No need for studs.

I plan on going out Friday morning. Hopefully I can stay on the trail and not just roll randomly through the woods!

Anderson has been a great ride so far this winter. I have ridden out there every Sunday. The snow conditions are different every time but it is always fun. Last week was a work-out. Frozen crusty snow made every incline a challenge.

Trail looks very rideable. A little bumpy and some ice, but looks good. I plan to ride tomorrow evening if we don't get to much snow between now and then.

I rode from MSU to Anderson Park today, but I forgot my map and could not find the trails. Luckily I wasn't planning on riding anyways, just looking to scope out the trails. I found an entrance marked Anderson Park next to the Fire Station but there were no marked trails and I figured that to be the area off-limits to bikes. The area is very pretty and I walked around the woods for a while and saw a couple deer.

If I am heading Southwest down Old Lansing where exactly is the park entrance?

You turn on Wardell Rd. When driving in you will see a chained entrance on the left. That is the start of the Red loop. If you drive to where the road takes a 90 degree left that is where the green loop is at.

Trails are 100% ready to go. Did 3 laps this afternoon.

Yeah, what he said. Well, with 50% fewer laps. The trail is in great condition. Get out there and take advantage of the beautiful weather.
If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem.

Rode it for the first time yesterday, did find it a little difficult to find the trail head (I parked at the fire station) but I found it a nice little trail. The part that runs along the Grand river is beauty! Good job, it's certianly going to go on the regular ride rotation.

There are 2 trail heads located off Wardell Road just east of the fire station. Glad you enjoyed the trails.

See you out there sometime.

You want to turn down Wardell road. The turn is right at the old Delhi School. Then you will park by the second "Wardell Road" on this map. You should see the kiosk on your left.

I went riding yesterday (Friday) and decided it was still a little too slick on several portions so I walked my dog longer than I rode my bike there. I'm guessing with the rain we're supposed to get tonight / tomorrow it will take another couple days to dry out. On the plus side, the trilliums are about 2-3" tall and should be blooming soon, should make for a nice ride.

I rode the Red Loop for the first time yesterday (Wednesday). I loved it. There are a couple tough little climbs and the view by the river is amazing. Great trail!
