First time enjoying the new features one word... GREAT. This trail needed a little bit of excitement. If one carries enough speed over the drop, you nearly fly off the trail :D no complaints sheer enjoyment.

Thank you! Everybody seems to be enjoying the new features from what I have been told and hear. The
drop is really a blast when you hit it WFO!

Aaron and I were able to get out this morning and do some work today mostly putting
fill down in some of the low spots by the crane. We also put this small bridge going into
humps in. It will sovle the problem with this area being wet at times. Please use
caution when crossing till I get the wire mesh on it in a few days.

I also finished the leaf blowing early this morning. The trail is now leaf free.

Want to be involved with building a new feature at Clinton River Park Trail? We are going to be constructing a
50' bridge to span the low/wet area coming into the "Humps". The bridge is a much needed addition to this
low area of the trail. It will also helps us in making the trail rideable year around. We need volunteers to help
get this bridge built!

Please join us at 10am on Saturday, November 19th, 2011 at the trail head of Clinton River Park Trail (CRPT) to keep development moving forward.

Things to bring/wear:
Work gloves.
Boots, long pants, long sleeved shirt, hat.
Bug spray.
Water / hydration pack/ etc.

We will have the CRAMBA chapter trailer on site. We will not be clearing any new trail so the
usual tools will not be used (rakes, loppers etc.). Tools needed for this work day are as follows:
Hammers, Saws, Pry bars etc.. We will have some on hand but if you have personal favorites bring them.

Thank you everyone! If you can make it please let me know either by PM or email. Just so we can get an idea
of how many people we wil have on hand. If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to ask.

Thanks, Paul

This is the area where the new bridge will be built.

Cleared 4 deadfall and all the debris that goes with them this morning on the south end. Trail
is clear up to the old DPW building. Aaron is going out tomorrow to check on the north end.

Brisk morning out on the trail at 7:30. I finished a few things that I have been working on.

Installed hardware cloth on new mini bridge and added some fill where needed.

Did a bench cut one of the "humps' that was having some erosion issues.

Armored the north end of the curved bridge with chunks of concrete curb from the DPW yard.
Thank you Josh! This will solve the problem of the approach being eroded away flooding.

Your welcome. I like doing trail work. It lets me build things and
be outside. Two things I really enjoy, wrapped into one. :D . I
hope I get to meet you and others, next Saturday, November 19th
at the CRPT trail day.

I plan on it! Hopefully work won't get in my way. My new position is insane and has cut into my ride time and weekends now. I'm getting irritable!
I think I'd rather work on trails in 40 mph sideways rain in cold temps. I wonder if this means I've picked the wrong job.....
