mack, thanks for the fresh wood chips !!!
found the water down about a foot going into the humps from the south by this afternoon,
still not passable without paddles
from the bridge (or crane) north it was surprisingly ridable
the gravel that was added provided a solid base under the few wet spots
still constantly amazed how open most of this trail has stayed

Ya man!! I just put on a new Oregon bar and chain on the Jonsered. The saw is
amazing. Hopefully it dries out back there by weeks end, because it's going
back up north to cut a whole s@!t load of trees on my brother's property. I want
to get this new feature done before then.

I raked, graded and tamped the approaches, exits and the bailout for "Big Skinny" this
morning it is now ready to ride. I can't wait to ride it, but I have something "Little"
to finish up first.

This is riding from the south.

Good work out there! I need to get back and ride the new additions (and modificatons). Fly off the drop! See if I can ride it as a step-up now that it has an extra log.

How high is that skinny?

Thanks bh357, you can ride the log jump/drop different ways hit it slow to medium and it's a sweet drop
hit it fast to WFO with some preload and you will end up close to the right hander. PLEASE be careful
if you decide to ride it as a step up, make sure there is no one coming from the opposite direction. It
was designed to ride south to north and is marked as such. "Big Skinny" is a non elevated skinny, but
it does traverse 2 large pot holes that will make it interesting depending on how wet it is. They were filled
with water now there just muddy .

EDIT: Please see this post. CRPT (Clinton River Park Trail) new feature "The BIg Skinny". For more detailed
photos and info.

Now that "Big Skinny" is finished and being used, which makes me :D . I moved onto phase 2 "Little Skinny"
and finished it this morning. This one is going to be more challenging it's elevated, narrower and offcamber
at one end. You can ride it from either direction from the south it will be a drop, from the north it will be
a step up.

I haven't been out to CRPT for a few weeks due to being under the weather, but was curious where the "skinnies" are located. It looks like the big skinny may be just north of the log drop? I can't tell where the little skinny is. Nice work! The trail just keeps getting better and better.

Thank you. The skinnies start just north of the log jump. Little Skinny is within sight of the log jump. Big Skinny
is down the trail maybe 100yds where the two pot holes on the right side of the trail are, it traverses them.
The trail is ridable just muddy in some spots. I don't think it is really going to dry out to much more this year
not hot enough. I cleared the deadfall and debris that was in the crane area.

I got out this afternoon blew the leaves off the southern section up the the
first asphalt crossing. This should help dry out some of the wet spots.

Blew through a few laps yesterday with the greatest of ease, good conditions, good weather, light traffic. However, everyone I came across was curtious enough to let me by. First time enjoying the new features one word... GREAT. This trail needed a little bit of excitement. If one carries enough speed over the drop, you nearly fly off the trail :D no complaints sheer enjoyment.
