Nice to have met you also, your info was very helpful. It let me know where the deadalls were, and saved me
time and energy not have to go looking for them. Which in turn allowed me spend more time doing other things
on my "to do list"

Eagle Scout Orion Peterson from Boy Scout troop #1973. Was able to finished his Eagle Scout project Saturday, which
was to build a new kiosk for CRPT to replace the old one. With some new and some used parts (donated from Addison Oaks old
kiosk), he and his helpers finished our new kiosk Saturday afternoon. Nice job Orion :icon_thumleft:.

Rode CRPT last night, starting from the east end trail head.

East TH to 'the berms' is in pretty good shape, few snotty spots. We ran into someone coming from the other direction who said the rest was in fair shape, with a few soft spots. That was generous at best. We rode the next section, and it should be avoided. We skipped out at the next pavement intersection and avoided the rest.

So, berms to east trail head is in decent shape, the rest needs a few days.

The low areas (flood plain) are not handling rain of any amount very well at this time. The ground is
so saturated from multiple floods this year, the water has no place to go. It should be good to by Sunday.
I did flag the south flood plain section, to make it easier to follow. I removed all the deadfall and a couple
head bangers, also trimmed back and removed the low hanging branches, trees, vines etc.. from the long
corridor straight. The trail was open and free of deadfall and debris up and including the berm section. I
hope to get out Sunday to do some work on the north end of the trail.

Rode from the Edison corridor to dodge park -trail looks great! headed into the trailhead by the crane, looked pretty muddy, so I skipped out.. from farmstead to jaycee figired it would be the same, but rode the section along m53 - really good shape too. headed over to rbends after.. We are getting close!

Looks like you smoothed over some ruts too - Great work on the trail Mack/ Aaron!

Just rode the entire trail on the fatbike almost all of the trail is in ridable shape except for a few muddy spots that have ways around them or can be walked. There is ALOT of broken glass in spots throughout the trail :( .

That broken glass you see has always been there, CRPT was a dumping grounds at one time. The areas
you see it at, you could dig down 3 ft and still find glass. With all the rain this year more of it is coming
to the surface as dirt washes away.

Trail was lovely yesterday. Glad to see it finally dried out this spring. Now if we could just do something about Mack constantly tagging the crane.

Rode CRPT this morning and it is finally starting to dry out. The only major problem was two 12 inch or so diameter dead trees down about 100 yards to the right of the paved path to the baseball field parking lot. By to the right I mean if you were riding up the paved path toward the parking lot. I would have taken pics and been more specific but we were on a tight time schedule. I hope that helps the TC's.
