The trail runners will probably flatten a path before long.

Was it just wishfull thinking or is the bridge over the river in Clinton Park complete?... I did not go over Van Dyke but I thought I saw a bridge from the bank parking lot.

The bridge was completed last fall.
You must be fast cause you were hauling ass when I passed you.

If you are talking about the bridge that goes over the Clinton River in Heritage Park,
then yes it has been completed for awhile.

That will remain a problem every time it floods expect it. if you hug tight up against the north
wall you can walk your bike. It is better then having to cross Van Dyke in that area which can be
a b!@#h, down right dangerous at times.

Not worth the cross right now to add a few miles to my ride. But it is nice to know the bridge is done :icon_thumleft:

I have been trying to get a route that gets me up to Riverbands and back from my house

I was talking with the Utica DPW director and he states the they are trying to get federal grant money for a 8 foot box culvert to remedy the problem. But they are trying to find a solution otherwise if they can't :icon_thumright:

It is all good my current route is @ 22 miles .... Getting to RB should push that close to 34+ round trip that is just rail to trail paths.
