I was out there Saturday and scraped the lip off on the downslope of a couple wet spots. I'm with you, Chris. Every time I eye all the wet spots, fall lines, and unfinished trail spurs. It doesn't appear that trail maintenance is too much of a priority for the park, so good on all the citizens helping out.

Two words: standing water. And lots of it, especially on the south spur from between the boat launches. Not very much actual mud, but lots of puddles of water.

P.S. The giant log pile on that back trail was also removed.

Boat launch to boat launch has been trimmed (not by me, but trimmed nonetheless), and the last large log that required dismounting has been removed. Trail is dry except for the stream crossing after the south boat launch.

I see Critter7r frequents 7 Lakes trails. Can you tell us the current conditions? There is a South loop that is accessible by turning left just after the bridge, I'm curious if it is overgrown or well-travelled? I'm looking forward to exploring all the trails there again soon! I used to get out there once every couple weeks, really like the change of pace. There is at least one hill there I STILL can't get over. That will be my next goal!

Lots of standing water yesterday because of the recent rains, but nothing too mucky except the normal few areas.

Thanks for clearing the trees, Josh!
