Trails seem to be in pretty good shape. The typical 4 or 5 muddy spots, are. But otherwise, the trails are tacky and clear. The effects of the controlled burn are still apparent, there's a canopy of trees but you can see deep into the woods where the burn took place.

The trail is super dry, packed like concrete. Some of the downhills were sketchy due to a lack of traction. I'd suggest starting at trail marker 3 if possible. 1-3 was mostly grass and some singletrack that had some pretty steep steps to navigate.

There was no one in the park! I think we saw 3 or 4 other cars on a Saturday afternoon. Crazy. It'd be a fun place to go spend a day on the lake or camp.

The campground on the east side of the park was pretty much full yesterday, so you're right about camping! I'd love to see the park folks do what the Holly Rec. management did and officially encourage new riders to ride the trails around the campground. It's a really nice setting, a recovering old gravel pit with a nice little campground on the lake.
