Ok...who do I need to contact within the MMBA to coordinate a trail day for this trail? My fiance and I would like to help out, or if no one is handling this trail, I would be happy to head things up. I will have time to take on this little project this summer with my new work hours with my new job.

I think this is a perfect opportunity for us to establish a relationship with the Seven Lakes administration. The MMBA hasn't actively worked out there for several years, for reasons unclear to me. I'd be surprised if they would refuse help maintaining existing trails for all users, so it's a matter of finding the contact person there. I just need to find a few minutes to get to their office, but probably can't until next week sometime.

I would love to discuss the possibility of reviving the Holly/Flint Chapter's trail efforts at 7 Lakes. The Chapter has a trailday at Holdridge Lakes tomorrow, March 28th at 11:am. This would be the perfect time to have a discussion about the project.

I asked one of the Rangers last year and he said they took care of their own trails. So I didn't pursue that any further!

The trees are gone on the main loops. The connector between Sand and *beep* Lakes still has a couple monsters down. Low spots are still very muddy, but easy enough to walk.

Main loops are dry but with a few smallish logs down. Thanks to hikers and wind, there is minimal leaf litter on the tread.

Rode Seven Lakes today for the first time, fun trail and was in good shape. Just a few wet spots from yesterdays rain.

rode seven lakes today and there are 2 trees down on the trail, not sure how much clean up is provided for these trails, but just letting you know. The first one is between 3 and 4 but it closer to 4, so it would be easier to enter from "4" at the scenic outlook. I believe the other one is between 20 and 19, cant remember how far in between though. A chainsaw will definitely be needed and while it didnt really bother me to get off and climb over them, I know you guys like to keep em clean. Oh yeah, this trail is muddy at the end...wow.

What are the conditions at Seven Lakes. My son and I ride together and I'd like to take him there Friday afternoon. Also, where exactly is the trailhead? Thanks, Tom

I am new to the area. How do I get to these trails? Also going out solo is the trail marked well enough so I dont get lost. Coming from Grand Blanc 75 south. Any other trails close worth looking into?

75 south to Grange Hall Road (exit 101). Head west (right) on Grange Hall Road, through Holly. The park should be on your right a few miles west of Holly.

Also check outh Holdridge Lakes. Once again, 75 south to Grange Hall Road. West on Grange Hall, and make a right on the first dirt road (Hess Road). Head down Hess a couple miles.

Trails are all clear and in great shape-perfect for night riding during the hunting season.
