Does anyone have an update on the trail conditions? I have not been able to get up there and check it out. Hoping to be able to start riding soon.

25% ice on the trail as of yesterday, 3 trees down, 1 in yellow by the end, 1 in black just past the cedar bridge, & 1 in the red loop. The trail is only good to ride before 10am while it's frozen.

thanks for cutting those downed trees out yesterday Mark.

rode yesterday and the trail was mostly ok, probably 75% was dry and not rutted. had people waited to ride, the whole trail would have been in good shape, but because we dont wait for conditions to be suitable around here, there are a bunch of spots that have ruts and are 10 feet wide. These spots are now going to hold the rain and channel it right down the tread. unfortunate, but i guess thats just the way it is here.

the worst spots are the orange loop, the first 1/2 mile of red and the 1/2 mile or so of green leading up to the 10 mile trail head.

btw: the armouring on yellow is awesone and holding up very well

Please take note, Michigan Adventure Racing is holding an adventure race this Sat. April 27, 6am-3pm. Please avoid using the park for general riding, trail running until after the event is over.

Michigan Adventure Racing has been a great ally and partner of the WMMBA already donating over $1,000 to us so far this year.

Hey Rick, does this apply for just Saturday morning or will they be setting up Friday night? I'm thinking about riding, but don't want to disturb their work or damage their course.

Rode Luton today and it's in great shape. One soft spot on the blue between exit of orange and entrance to black.

Rode Last night and there is a large tree down on yellow loop most of the way up the large hill climb. Looks like a chain saw may be needed to clear it.
