Hey all, the final 2 group rides are listed below. As for making 2 laps, the short answer is yes, however, we don't want people out there after we leave, which is usually by 4pm. So, if you can rip out 2 laps, in that time (with group traffic) come on out. Actually there are a few people who already do a couple laps, though the choicest hotdogs may be gone. :D

Is the group ride for members only?

Count me in also, I've only been there once, to me it's the best trail in the lower peninsula.

Rode in one of the group rides in mid Oct.and had a blast.

Since there hasn't been any updates, what was told at the meet I was at is the trails will be open once again to the public come spring time. The amount of trails has been limited though. The lap we took was roughly 12mi, some killer hills and still great views. There is talk of a hard packed pump track and possibly some skate style ramps in hopes to pull more of a family atmosphere allowing kids who also BMX to have a place to ride.

Right now there is a push for Corp. sponsors to help fund things such as signs, rental equipment for trial maintenance, and building new trials.

Other than that I am not positive on any dates.

Thanks for the update, I use to ride out there roughly 10 times a year & loved the place, & was sad to see it go away.
Glad to see we are going to be able to enjoy it again.

Suggestion: How about better trail info.? When I click on the "trail website" link, I do not get info. about the trail...only Boy Scout info. ???
I've never been to Owasippe, I'd like to know more about it.

Any more info on the trail opening? Specifically, the dates our $60 will get us?

If someone gets in a ride before the weekend...could you please post the mileage that is available to ride? My understanding is that only some of the trail will be open for starters. Thx in advance!

Trails are open from the third Saturday in August through the second Saturday in June. All trails are closed for the month of November for hunting safety. All trails are open from dawn until dusk.

It says there are 22 miles of trails and says to check the trail map - does anyone have a link to a trail map online?
