Walked a couple sections of the loop. The usual wet spots are greasy but the rest looks ready to ride.

The Loop was in fantastic shape early Saturday morning; just a few slick spots, mostly in Olson, where the sun had beat down on the trail. I'd give it a few days after today's rains, before riding it post-thaw. PLEASE stay off the trails and let them dry.

Still some trees down in KEubler/Langford, if anyone has a chainsaw I'll help. Also some trees down in bluffs as well.
ran some of it last night and seemed to dry out really well with the warm weather.

Trail is $$$$$ right now. Very few wet spots and a few of them should be ridden on to smooth em out. Rode last night, but didn't hit up Olson, may still be too wet there. A few larger trees down, but none in really scary spots.

The trail was mainly good yesterday...the spots that are always muddy in the spring are still wet, so please try to avoid those areas if possible. Olson was good except for a couple short sections.

On another note, it seems that some folks are starting to 'straighten' out the trail, which is kind of annoying. I noticed a number of spots where the trail makes a small little turn that people are beginning to cut off.

Also, thanks to whomever cleared all the down trees in Bluffs!!!!

trail is in rocking shape other than a few wet spots.

Trail is in great shape. Still a couple of spots that are a little damp in the usual places. Everything was clear of debris where I was riding, although some of the leaners from years past are starting to get lower. The downhill is starting to look a bit washed out. I didn't ride Olsen or the Ridge section so none of these comments apply there. Go out and enjoy it.

Trail is still looking good after the last days worth of rain. There are still a couple of wet spots, but the usual ones. Didn't hit the downhill or ridge, but Olsen was in good shape, with the only sloppy spot being the turn around where you climb back up through the powerline section.

Trail is rocking! Very few wet spots, no big trees down, no face slappers (yet!). Get out and ride!

Please remember to play nice with walkers, runners, dogs etc. Id HIGHLY rec for everyone to get and use a bell. Cant remmber how many times walkers have said thanks to me for using one. We all know we have to share our trail with more walkers/runners than other trails.
We're formulating our long term plan for the local loop (I.e. more/better trail) and want/*NEED* the city to view mtn biking in a good light. Please be courthouse, take the highroad and avoid user conflicts.

Trail is in pretty darn good shape for the most part. Tons of hikers/runners/dog walkers out there so be on the lookout. I just started riding the local loop this year and I'm pretty impressed. It seems like every portion of the trail has a spot that I really like. I love the downhill between the tight trees and roots in Bluffs, Keubler is fast, Olson is a blast, and the Black Pond Woods section is fun too.

I still have a hard time not getting a little turned around in Bluffs though and I usually end up missing mostly all of the section on the East. There are trails going everywhere in there! I usually miss the turn into the longer section of Keubler too. Is it the first left after the initial left into the singletrack? I'm never sure and don't want to commit to the wrong trail. Thanks and hopefully I see some of you guys out there.

Did the A2 loop today+Olson. I've not been past Bandemeir (sp?) Park, so I attempted to find the route myself. Happened to get some help and a map from an A2 Park employee assisting with a controlled burn. Judging by Scott's GPS, looks like I missed the SE section that appears to be going through the city. I crossed the dam at the south end of Bandemeir, then headed back up the river on the opposite side via dirt roads and high suburban bluffs, and found the trail back to Leslie Park. Everything is dry and fast, I did find a long muddy downhill, but found routes around that section before crossing Main Street, where the train is. Saw several tents in those hills near the trail.

Olson was in perfect shape, also char-broiled from a controlled burn.

Originally planned on going to the Poto, but the construction on 23 changed my mind.
