Tree down at .92 miles. tree at 2.3 miles mostly sawed through so I finished it and moved it out of the way. Your saw is where I found it. Many big branches down. No mud. nice sunny day.

Thanks, I will get back and grab it. Cut through one side of 1st tree - got too hot and sweaty, cut through 2nd one, both sides, then started on 3rd tree and handle broke so I left it there and was going to get some duct tape for a quick repair from my truck at "the turn" but got a work call and had to depart.

Thanks for the help guys....I haven't been able to get out there due to work and family commitments...Send me a PM with your names and I'll make sure your trail hours are documented for FAFL purposes.

Did 3 laps this afternoon. Trees down at .93, 6.3 needs a saw (we tried to move it but it is too long) and 6.4. very little mud and by the 3rd lap almost all gone. New front to the big log pile very slick. sunny finally, enjoy.

Ditto on the trees down, did pick up my hand tree saw, in the recycle bin now. Too bad it was not a Sears Craftsman. Next one will be for sure. Trail was in great shape except for the amount of storm debris. Tomorrow should be that much better.

I did cut the tree out at 6.4. the bigger one before it needs a chainsaw.

The tree down at mile .93, is this the one that's been made into a new log-hop obstacle? If so, it needs a little work with a saw to make it right. There's a couple of branch stubs sticking straight up out of the fallen trunk that should be trimmed off. They're right in the center of the natural line through there and force a last second course correction to get over safely. It wouldn't be so bad if there was a clean line of sight approaching the hop, but it's situated around a blind curve.

I road (or is it rode?) trail on Saturday and I liked it.

I did have a question though.... where are you supposed to go when you come up to the little riverbed type area? It looked like there were 3 different trails leading up to the same spot, which may have been a jump area as well.

We ended up finding the right way based on the yellow arrows nailed to the trees, but I am unsure as to where the other trails come from or go to (specifically the trail that goes straight up the hill... this is the one that looks as if it may be a way to get speed and hit a jump?)

I go across the creek and up to the right and follow the trail from there, not sure if that is correct.

Tree down on the return section coming back over the floating bridge, but I'm guessing it's the same one mentioned above. That section is a little overgrown, the little meadow that curves to the right with the groundcover is almost completely obscuring the trail.

Crossing the riverbed, stay right and follow the arrows...there are two lines to the right that give you the option of either jumping the mound or simply riding up it. The left hand line, or straigh across the riverbed, is an old two track that runs through the park...it'll eventuially get you out to the front if you follow it. I'm planning on putting it on the map once the mapping project starts so people can use it as hiking or bail out points. We don't maintain that trail but it is useable.

Plan to get out there this week (Wed probably) to get the big down tree o of there as well as the little one that someone made in to a logpile after the berm around the 1 mile mark. Gonna try and rally some cronies to help me with the big one since it has the potential to be messy....Lots of growth on the trail due to all the rain, that'll take more time to get to...feel free to do some trimming if you have the time....

I'd love to help but have a 7 week old, maybe next season... I've only been out once this year so far.
