Dave,

Thanks for your help...I got out there last night with Loren, Walleyed, and some other riders and the trail is in good shape. Some of what you did was stuff I had planned for the trail day on April 17th so thank you. This will free us up to do some more stuff...possibly including a couple minor re-routes and more extensive stuff....We'll have to monitor the big logpile after the floating bridge....thanks for fixing the step that had developed there. The skills area/stunt needs some TLC so that will definitely be a trailday project....Pass on my thanks to Logman as well....

Hey Bill.

I hit the connector last weekend. The only issue was following the trail because of low traffic and leafs......

(you are referring to the single track and two track from the camp group to Glengary, correct?)

I did it the other day... nothing bad except for one corner on the double track where a 4 wheeler dug a couple deep ruts out that are now water filled. the path now goes around to the right. If anyone is going let me know. I want to get to Milford and I 'm getting mixed up passed proud Lake. Thanks.

Got stuck today in the rain and wind...

New tree down right after the swamp/pallet crossing/bmx jump the crosses the trail in two spots. Will need either a saw or a few people to move. Another down a little after where the teeter totter was.

Only got hit by one branch falling from the wind.

Went to Hickory Glen yesterday for the first time, we usually ride lakeshore. The trail was in great condition, but question, are there plans in the future to have better markers on the trail? We kept trying to read the map a few times to see where we were but we couldnt figure it out. We like how lakeshore has maps at trail heads and mile markers, it helps to know where you are for safety reasons.
Thanks!

Signage is one of the long term projects for this year...it helps if the neighborhood kids don't rip it down or deface it.....The Novi project took a long time to get in and had quite a bit of help from the city. WE won't be that extravagant since the MMBA is footing all the bills but we'll try and do our best.....

Managed to get out last night and cut out the deadfall after the teeter area....the one after the pallet crossing was already moved. I removed the log in the top of the hill on the far side of the pallet crossing so that line should revert back to what is should be/was. I also took out a couple leaners that should make things a little more enjoyable....Thanks to Walleyed for the help last night....

On another note, I put some pin flags out there...please leave them where they are....we're working on some new stuff to keep you guys entertained.....

Did a couple of laps this morning and the trail was fine. no downed trees and no faceslappers. Tacky with little or no mud.

Rode the trail last night..it's in great shape but we will be doing some tweaking during the upcoming trail day on Saturday. Plans include repairing the freeride stunt, adding a new "bowl" to ride through/jump, repairing a log pile or two and some things to get us ready for the heart of riding season. Hope to see everyone out there Saturday at 9am!!!
