Watched the sunrise this morning from the farm - trail is crunchy and hard. Get out and enjoy the season!

The trail was fine today. Get out and get some miles in!

Hiked a few miles of the trail this morning. Most of the tracks were from skiers and hikers, but at least one intrepid biker was out there. Conditions looked very rideable - an inch of fluffy powder over hardpacked snow. Wide tires would probably stay on top of the hardpack, making it easy and fast.

Came across a few trees that were down, and there are a lot of low branches held down by heavy snow - be careful!

Several bike tracks out there today. With the exception of several hill climbs, it was a much faster ride for me than Commerce. There's several good size trees down, not something I could do with the hand tools I have that late in the day.

Rode/walked The trail this morning. Better than 75% is ridable. 100% by good riders. I'd suggest getting out there and riding. More riders will pack down the trail nicely.

We'll get to the trees, but probably not until early next week.

Pretty good traffic for this time of year at Lakeshore and most of the singletrack is packed hard and pretty easy riding. Still a number of trees down, especially in Expert.

Enjoy!

I rode the entire trail Saturday morning on studs. Two trees still down on the expert loop. Other than that the trail is clear. I wouldn't call it "easy riding" but except for walking the bigger uphills the entire trails is quite fun to ride. :)

The trail is incredibly beautiful right not. It's all fun and the very best riding conditions are in the Pines, so don't skip that part on the way out.

Seven of us rode the entire trail on Sunday AM. Challenging but mostly doable. It's worth riding just to do the Pines.

Rode the trail today both forward and backwards. It was in great shape short of a few icy patches and a fair amount of deadfall on the trail. I really enjoyed going backwards. it is like finding a new trail in your backyard.

Only saw 2 other riders.

Got out to the trail late today as my seat post adjusting bolt snapped. Replaced the post and got out around 1PM and there were quite a few tracks. The snow is not deep and I didn't encounter hardly any ice at all. Very fast snow conditions. With the sun out, fresh snow on the trees I shot a ton of video out of my Go Pro. One thing I noticed in the vids afterwards that I didn't during the ride, were the number of trees that still had green leaves on them.

Low tree that can really clip you in the head in Maru's Way- with spindly branches pointing towards your face, so watch your eyeballs!

There were two more low hangers, One in Limey's and one... sorry, cannot recall where... If you have your head up, you'll see them before they get you!

Overall, a slight bit slippery snow, not much ice at all, and totally rideable!
