I rode the trail early this afternoon. Just a few small muddy spots mainly in expert loop in the turns. A few after the first bridge. Other than that the trail was in good shape. Go for it!

I made it .1 miles after leaving work early and battling hellatious traffic before getting a tear in my tubeless tire. that .1 miles was mud free. at least the walk back to the car was quick
Don't worry. It's all downhill from here.

The City of Novi will be holding their Great Campout program in Lakeshore Park starting at 4 pm on Saturday. To secure the area and prepare for the event, they will be closing down the driveway to the back at 1 pm for parking for the 200 plus participants.

The trails will remain open for riding, but you'll have to park in the front (and parking may be at a premium).

We rode the trail mid day and it was HOT HOT HOT out here. Trail was in perfect condition but I wasn't. The heat really got to me.
I have to say that the trails at Novi are the best marked system in the Metro area. Thanks for all that make this trail such a pleasure to ride.

Trimmed faceslappers and overgrowth from first bridge crossing to crater and 12.5 mile to the end.

Me and my buddies wrapped up our ride a little after 11a.m. this morning when 4 emergency vehicles roared up to the trail head, loaded up a back board on a park gator, and headed down the trails. Waited around long enough to make sure there were no more emergency vehicles coming in and left. Does anyone know what happened or any updates?

I brought the bike to work and was thinking about a ride at Novi this evening (5-6pmish). With all the rain right here on 12mile and Halstead this morning, I'm thinking it might need a night to dry out? Look elsewhere for a ride tonight? Thoughts?

Bummer on the injury, hope she makes a full recovery.

I live about 5 miles from the trail and last night it rained harder than I've seen it rain in a long time...like someone dropping buckets for about 20mins straight + according to my wife it's rained quite a lot this morning also...I gotta think the trail will be pretty sloppy today.

Thought so, think I will opt out and check out ILRA since it seems to shed the water better.
