Loren, thanks for taking care of that tree at the 5.5 mile marker. I tried to catch you to let you know there is a other on down near the end of the trail....about a quarter mile in. It's at the base of the last climb where when you are going up the huge fallen tree is to your right....the one where the roots are looking like the crackin waiting to suck you in.

It's smaller than the other one you took down today so it should be a fast job.

Thanks again!

Oh and you definitely had to tread lightly today in limey's and the expert loop. I bypassed some places because they were so bad. Second half of the trail was much better but there were a couple spots in the trenches (the really tight ST toward the end) that were muddy but no standing water. But definitely had to walk some other spots due to standing water and thick mud.

Unlikely - Novi got lots of rain overnight.

Rode through here yesterday afternoon, definitely too wet. There's quite a few large puddles and muddy patches, especially in the expert loop.

Lakeshore could use some serious trimming. Any help would be appreciated!

Loren, the link to the invasive species field guide on the MSU site is broken.

This is the new link I found through Google:

Getting closer...

Last night we were hopeful but had give up on the group ride thing and relocate to Hickory Glen.

Rode the trail last night. Still pretty muddy. It is rideable but I wouldn't go back till it is dry to avoid any further trail damages.

One of my favorites. Lots of back and forth but not much elevation. Can't ride super fast but has some tricky spots yo navigate.
