Trail surface is in great condition. Beware of face slappers and several low branches. I will never ride without glasses again.

Lakeshore is wet and soft after the recent rains. Please avoid for a couple days.

This is why we can't have nice things:

I have ridden the trail 10-15 times and never encountered anyone going the wrong direction. The other day I ran into 2 people in different parts of the trail riding the wrong direction. The first and scariest was on the Lost loop. I was going down the steep decent in the narrow area just before the wood bridge coming out. The second was on the end of the swamp trail. Not a big deal because it is easy to see there. Does this happen often?

It's not a common occurrence. Probably a new rider, first time on the trail and got turned around...

Any crystal ball predictions on how the trail will be after work this afternoon (5-ish)? Pickin' rain is making hard to get out there.
Thanks!

I rode Saturday 5/12 with grins from ear to ear. I haven't been out there in a few years and man was it fun. Followed a couple guys more in shape than me and had a blast. These two guys were funny, lead was making dirtbike sounds kept making fun of me. Complimented my bike at the pump track, which is awesome btw. Then I realized, I was out there by myself, such a loner.

Was one of the guys middle aged and on a Giant Anthem 26er?
