I did some maintenance today. I mowed grass along trails and swept sand out of some of the corners. And I did try to clear some of the pine needles from a section as well.
Not sure if anyone is keeping track. I was able to get a 33 min lap in the other day. I will be posting the video as soon as I can on youtube, and I will have a link here.

Noticed the mowing and the cleaned corners, thanks for the trail work. Did 4 laps today (Saturday morning) and it felt great. Rolled into the parking lot after the last lap and the rain had just started.

Did a little more work. Mostly removing sand from the trail. One of the descents east of Scott pond I cleared out the run offs for the water. Hoping this will help with the sand. Hoping to see if someone can get some more trail arrows, and maybe a way to label the sections. I think I got most of the stuff I wanted to get to. Hope you like the trail.

Anyone interested in help with the trail? We had a couple rains since the last time I worked on it. Looking to work on it next week sometime. Time to be determined by folks that can help out.

Just rode 4 laps today and the trail is still holding up pretty good. I will get that sand pit the next time I am off shift. The sand removed early was not replace with the last three rain storms. And someone has painted some arrows on the ground for help route biker/hiker/crosscountry runners in the right way. Hope to see you on the trail!

I got what I believe to be the last sand pit. I also brushed a couple other parts of the trail. If you find something, post it so it can be taken care of.... Thanks and enjoy the ride.

Rode it yesterday. No issues at all. Nice work. Could use better signage last 1/2 mile. Just a couple of yellow arrows would be helpful.

Noted, there should be some better trail markings, The trail coordinator is working on it and I am always looking for some freebies for the trail. Glad you liked it. Hopefully this fall we can keep the leaves off the trail so others can see the trail. That and the trail markings seem to be the biggest gripes. However maybe a few jumps or obstacles would give the trail technical options for advanced riders. but that is up to the NMMBA. I am just throwing out some ideas...

Removed a large rotten tree from trail and walk about 3 miles clearing spoke killers. I catch the other half another day.

Tree laying across trail on the last section was removed, keep posting trail conditions on here so they can be taken care of.

Going to try to ride Aspen on the 27th or 28th. Sometime between 10:00 and 12:00. Any takers?

Today we did a little work on the trail. Got a few arrow signs and a short reroute. Please take the reroute. It is there to protect against erosion. If there are any concerns please post them here so we can take a look at them. Thanks
