I'm guessing just fine. I'll be heading up that way myself this evening.

Not a lot of rain up here lately. I expect that it should be about perfect, except for face slappers. You should be able to ride the whole loop dry.

The tree W of Harmon is still there - ride-around is still there.

Very wet just before the first bridge E of Harmon (near Miller Rd.). Did not chance the area behind the ranger's house.

The trail was great today - fast and mostly dry. A couple muddy / wet spots where expected near the low wetlands. Sand is starting to show up in a couple of spots as well.

There was one down tree across the trail which we moved without much trouble.

Overall, it was a great day for a ride. :)

Does the trail drain quickly? Anybody have an idea of what the trail will be like today?

It does not but we haven't had enough rain to.make it unrideable. At Bald mountain there is always some mud to real with , but its worth it. If it has been raining for days straight and its a.wet season I would stay clear, but right now it should be good.

Thanks guys, good ride. Only a few muddy spots. Saw a turkey on the trail. Figured out my front wheel was loose halfway around, Not sure if the QR just came loose or I forgot to tighten it after the last maintenance. Glad I fixed it before that downhill with the boards across it. I couldn't get a rhythm, I just held on for dear life and was glad it wasn't longer.

Were you on the north or the south loop? I am trying to picture a downhill with boards. Maybe in the south unit?

First time there. I went down Greenshield rd. and parked in a little dirt lot. The trail was 4.5 miles looked like a figure 8. Is that where I should have gone or are there better trails?

you must have been in the south unit, the north is off of Harmon road, there are east and west loops there, they are excellent trails

Yes, that is the south unit which is the only place I could picture what you mentioned. The south unit is connected to the LOHS trail but the south unit itself is shorter an less hilly than the north unit. The north unit is also close to Addison Oaks. If you want to see how to connect the south unit and LOHS trail together let me know and I can give you a tour.

Thanks, a tour would be great. I am not particularly fast but I work hard. What time is best for you? I can ride early morning or Tuesday evening or next weekend. Name is Troy
