6:30 is going to make it tight, but I wouldn't mind getting a little more use out of my light before the long days of summer anyway.

Hey Krug, we've met before briefly. I was the guy with the yellow cannondale on my car that passed you on your way off the grind last night.

Anyway, see you all tomorrow

Well how did the group ride go? How many people showed up. Sorry I couldn't make it but I had a funeral to go to. Some thinges you just can't plan for.

I have the next trail day planned out. Just a couple things to work out if more people show than I am planning for. I'll post it soon.

The first mile of the west loop is mostly soup. I had to walk a majority of it. The rest only had puddles of mud in low-lying areas.

I rode the majority of the east loop yesterday, a few slick spots mainly between miles 7-9, other than that it looks pretty good. One tree still down between 6-7. I really like the rock pile options, one was a little loose on the downside though....

Please try to keep ride annoucment discussion in the proper forums. I've had some people PM me that some ride discussions are starting to clog up the forum, and make finding out about trail conditions a bit more difficult.

So, in the future, if a ride discussion starts up, please try to move it to the Ride Annoucements forum, and point further discussion to that thread.

Thanks
Nick Shue

I rode the West Loop last Monday (04.10.06) and it was nowhere near ready for heavy traffic. Very muddy and standing water in spots. I had to get off and walk at least a half dozen spots (I hate dirty bikes and messy trails). So if you do go out tread lightly. 8)

I rode it yesterday... it's still a mess. Maybe even worse than it was last week. Still several spots that should be walked... although it looks like most people just plow through. :?
