West and North Loops

Postby jeffcolombo » April 10th, 2006, 11:49 am

The West and North loops are still muddy in a lot of places so be careful going through those areas. The tech loop is dry, I didn't ride the Lake loop, but will be riding all 25 miles tomorrow during the day. I just rode them on Saturday.

West & North Loop, usual mud spots that need to be walked about a half dozen.

If nothing pops up this week I'll be out there for the Thrusday Night Ride

Hey Josh, it was nice meeting you out there last night. What time is the Thursday night ride? I'm usually out there with a friend Thursdays at about 6:00 - 6:30, but I never see any group rides. The weather is looking good so far for this Thursday.

I thought he was talking about me, and got the name wrong. But I'll be there Thursday to sort this out.

heh, I was talking to you Jon. Sorry about that . See, I told you I was no good with names. Anyway, I don't usually leave work til 5:30, I guess that would be why I don't see any group out there. Maybe I'll skate early this week and meet up with you guys.

I would think that 6:00 or 6:30 would be a better ride start time once we get latter into the year and have longer daylight.

We should continue this thread in the "ride announcement" area?

group ride

Postby jeffcolombo » April 11th, 2006, 3:30 pm

Well I already posted it on the calendar for 5:30! I thought that would be a good time for all. Guess I was wrong.

I was looking at the other group rides and they meet between 6-6:30. So lets meet at 6:15 and start to ride at 6:30. Does that sound ok to all?

I think 5:30 is a good time to start for the next few weeks since it will be a bit dark by the time we could finish 9 miles of the Gruber's. I was out there tonight until 7:30 and it was almost to dark then.

I agree, if we do move the time back I'd say no more than 5:45 at the most.
