Rode out there yesterday for the first time in a month or month 1/2.. seemed very loose compared to earlier in the season.. sand sections now where there used to be hard pack, and man seems like the roots and rocks are really potruding now. Fun none the less, just a little slower trying to keep traction bombing dh. We came out itchin like a crackheads on our arms from the grassy section before the r/c airport from all the tall grass just slappin away lol! Yes i would say the trail earlier in the season was border line fast, seems like more of a grind now constantly trying to keep traction... im gona blame my equipment.. my wheels are only 26 inches around. lol!

Very loose and fun.
Left hand turn, coming to a pine section with fireplace almost at the end of the trail, has some man made little obstacle/log jump right during the cornering. If you are like me, going fast through the turn leaning low you may be surprised)

I know I haven't ridden the trail in awhile, but please tell me that I'm not the only one that has absolutely no idea where this refers to?

I rode it on Monday and know where the new log pile is but don't get this reference. Maybe some kind of auto-correct?

+1 Log jump in a corner? I have about 60 miles logged here this year and i have not clue where this is.

The only log jump I know is a down hill and the logs are to the left.

I pretty sure he means the spot maybe 1/2 mile after the cross rd trailhead where you are going uphill in the pines then you go between some pines with a little root in the middle. You could also go around the to right. Anyway, there is a firepit made from rocks (If I remember right) off to the left. After you pass this spot there is a slight downhill then the straight open section where the turtles seem to like to nest. The left hand turn may be the sandy / puddles left before that area mentioned above. This follows the slight downhill right.

This all makes me want to ride now.

This. So imagine that left hand turn that leads to a pine section with fire pit(not fire place, sorry)). Usually it's a fast turn with brake bumps worn in. Now there is a tree trunk laying there with some man made log build ups to roll over it. Pretty fun, actually, if you manage to bunny hop it from low leaning position)

Rode 2 laps yesterday. Recent rain was what this trail needed. Awesome ride.

Trail was in grate shape earlier. No sign of water / rain. New obstacle definitely in a weird spot. Almost bunny hoppable for me. Next time

First time on this trail and I got to say it was a blast to ride!

Every break I took every rider that passed asked if I was ok, Great group that seems to ride their!!

Added bonus was quake on the lake, After my ride, sat at the picnic tables and watch some old boats race.

Trail seems great, like I said first time out their.

Big thumbs up to this place!!

Hmph, not as tacky as I'd hoped after the rain, a little greasy in spots, but all in all a good ride....until a bee flew into my helmet and stung me on the noggin!

+1 hoping for moist dirt but NONE found. Legs actually covered in dirt from dusting and even arms to some extent. My sweat attracts it like flies on shat. Good ride early morning though.

I mean greasy is both wet and sandy conditions. I had hoped the trails would be a bit more tacky with the rain that came through.
