There is a bail out or short cut on b-loop, sorry it was not marked but, tried to plant posts but it was to rockey. There will be a map installed at that intersection 4/26 and a marked-up map put up on the kiosk, letting everyone know that this is a work in progress. So take a look at the kiosk before you ride and the cut off will be clearly posted.

I usually pick up trash on other trails, but after riding Highland, I am truly impressed by how pristine it is. Well done all! :D

Sat. 5/1 in the afternoon Rode A and B. 10 inch tree over the trail about a mile in on A. I'll be out tonight with some other guys. Maybe we can move it.

Monday Afternoon 5/3 A and B were in good shape - drying quickly after the rain. - Now is the time to get your bike a little muddy anyways.

Me and a buddy rode A/B/C yesterday (Wed 5/5, start 5:50pm-ish). Looks like trees removed .
My friend broke his chain 40 minutes into the ride, I was fixing it when 2 others rode buy and offered help, very friendly.
Since I had chain tool we were good to go and said "thx for offer".
Slightly slippery roots due to rain, ride was sweet.

That was Ross and I. Good to here that you were able to continue your ride.

Pretty good size tree down on A just after the climb that has the clearing at the top (didn't have my computer, so I don't have mileage).

There is also a large tree down on D loop, it's at 11.5 miles if you're riding all the loops.

Rode A and B Monday late afternoon, new blow down I'm guessing a little more than a mile from the start a B. The brush along the trail is starting to fill in, so watch your speed.

Rode A/B/C 6pm start, intended to ride D also but my friend took 2 spills and broke 1 front spoke and mucked up something bad in his rear drivetrain, so we bailed out of the last loop.
(a few mosquito bites when stopped to help him up)

Trail good condition, got a few arm slashed from the overhanging pickies.

btw, lot pretty full, I wonder how many ILRA or Brighton riders could not get to their ride due to I-96 closure and rode Highland instead?
