I'm hoping someone can help me with a time estimate. It's been a couple of years since I spent a lot amount of time on the Highand trail, so I'm not familiar with the B loop cut-off. Obviously it depends on my speed, but how long would an average ride be for an A-B loop if I took the b cut-off? I'm looking for about an hour ride.

It's 7 miles so... 1 hour would be a good estimate.

Took me about 80 mins back in the fall, but I'm pretty slow.

Big thanks to Highlands DNR for all the lumber and two expert bridge builders (I’m bad with names).

Did 2 laps at Highland today. Oh how I missed it. The trail was great, just 2 spots I walked, and about 5 or so trees down.

Nice job on the bridge. It took me by surprise when I came up to it. Very quality built for sure.

Rode this afternoon and only 1 tree down on B, all else was clear, thanks!! can't remember millage, but well before C - sorry. Trail is in Fantastic shape. 2 or 3 mud spots not much more than a few feet in total length, Leaves are getting worn down, No mosquitoes yet. I love this trail.

and on a personal note, I cleared "the gauntlet" for the first time today... ( that hill on the back half of B with all the larger rocks on the way up, you know the one, I officially now own it :) ) - Actually, I cleared the whole trail, but, that probably just means I'm going too slow.

Update on the trees there is one at the 2-1/2 mile post on A-loop and one just before 11 mile post on B-loop.
The rest of trail is clear but I see a storm headed this way. :(

Nah, that just means you slowed down enough. Highland isn't a fast trail. If you cleaned it all, "you're doing it right."

They are good, some mud on B. There is tree down on D right after the last big climb. I had too many miles on my Garmin to tell you exactly where. :)
