How's the paved loop? All clear besides the ever present butt-wetting meltwater?

Has been since 30 minutes after the last big snow. I have seen rollerbladers out there when I needed my wife's truck to be on the park road.

Was out riding the pavement last night... the loop has a bunch of water from the snow melt on the hill portions. I ended up riding the road which was all dry. You could definitely tell the ever present wind was blowing across the ice, got a bit brisk as the sun was dropping!

I'd probably wait until Wednesday. The ground should be well-frozen by then. And frozen dirt is great! :D

please do not ride it till it refreezes as it will leave nasty pizza cutter tracks that will freeze and come spring the loose dirt will wash away causing much unneeded erosion

Given the minimal snow melt, kinda iffy. Bald Mtn. might be the better choice, since the "singletrack" is also the walking path, it may be more packed down. Wherever you go, report back! :)

Yeah, I didn't try for Stoney ...And Bald North was not ridable.I just did a sort loop of the dirt roads going around Bald North. jcrazyjj, I hear ya, the cabin Fever is getting pretty hard to cope with. When the wife is gone I've been pulling my bike off the trainer and doing loops in the living room and driveway.

Hey someone posted on the mid-state boards that all the teeters were removed from the Stony Skills park. Can anyone confirm that? I didn't make it over to Stony last year, but I rode them a lot in 2009. That really sucks if they were taken down.
