Thanks. I'll switch over to that.

Ahhh. It is off road biking guys. Enjoy that it is dry this time of year.

Troof! There was but 1 wet spot that I saw, and it was ~6" in diameter. :P

Yeah sorry about that. I drank a big gulp on my way to the trailhead.

What!
Are we off topic?

Man, forgot how crowded it is out there on the weekend. Is trail running the new...trail running? There really isn't anywhere else to run at Stony?

a quick note
we will be having a trail cleanup and workday to complete a small reroute on April 21st, 9:30 we will be meeting at the mtb trailhead.
If you can make it we would love to see you out there and remember that 24 hours of trailwork at Stony earns you a metropark pass for next year

We just figured-out that PLRA is having a trail day on Saturday, 21AP12.
So, we'll move this to Sunday 22AP12.

Sorry for the confusion,

Pete.

It's surprisingly really good out there today. Did about 2 1/2 hours and my bike hardly has any mud on it whatsoever. There's like a couple of small puddles and then the usual puddles on the two track section, but other than that it's really not that bad.

Agree with the above. Trail is in all-but mid-season condition. :icon_thumleft:

Only issues were an exposed drain pipe in the Pines, and a broken, low-hanging tree in the 2nd half of the Rollercoaster. Neither are imminent dangers.

Perfect out there, except for all the people riding up the coaster, and the dog walkers on the end of the back 9 towards the sandy parts. Almost ran over a lab and I love dogs. Billy.

The eroded climb about half-way through the last segment of the Roller Coaster (short downhill, sweeps to the right, then curves to the left on a gravel-y climb, with a 90 degree right hand turn on a plateau at the top).
