It's been too long since I've been to FC. How's granny's garden?

PERFECT! Dropped 32 out there today just because we didn't want to leave! Trails are in the best condition I have EVER seen them in. Can't believe this is March! Only complaint is there is no foliage if you can even really complain about that! Take some sunscreen because you are pretty much going to be exposed to the sun all day out on the trails.

Great job on the new sections as well to all who were involved, first time riding there since all that was completed.

Red loop was in great shape today. There was a couple trees down. 1 by 16 and another one but I can't remember where it was. It was my first time riding there. The dirt was perfect though.

One of my favorite things is bringing my family camping at Ft. Custer and us all using the color coded map to plan our rides. Will there be an update to that map reflecting the trail separation?

It usually does a pretty decent job at shedding water if it doesn't rain too much. It looks like we got about an inch of rain, which means there will be a couple of muddy and slick spots for sure, but overall I think it should be in fine shape by tomorrow. I'll be out there in the morning for trail day and can post an update on the conditions if that will help you decide on making the trip out or not.

Trail looks good today. There will be some slick spots, but for the most part it should be good to go.

Am I missing something or is cardiac climb no longer a part of the red loop? I went out yesterday and followed the re-routes from the trail seperation. Not sure how much i like it but i guess i will get used to it. At least crazy beaver wasnt re-routed.

Unfortunately that was one of several sections we had to sacrifice to get the desired trail separation.

Some puddles here and there, but that's about it. Should be fine for a ride tomorrow.

Had a great time out here yesterday!! Conditions are great, and the nice cool temps make for refreshing bug-free riding. We got a little turned around from the re-routing but overall it was loads of fun. Thanks to all of you who maintain this great trail system! We have been doing campy little summaries of our rides lately; here is a link if you are interested:
