Isn't that the same photo that you posted yesterday?

Are you sure??? I'm having a little trouble reconciling the timing. I rode from 9 to 10 am this morning and distinctly recall dismounting to climb over a sizable tree on the yellow loop, near the end. I distinctly recall this because after climbing back in the saddle I had a clip in malfunction and went down- *right in front* of two young women. *Highly* embarrassing. That should have been around 9:30, and I don't remember hearing any chainsaws...

At any rate. The trail was frozen solid with only a few short snowy/icy spots. Definitely some frozen ruts out there. I left out at 10am and it was practically bumper to bumper with bikers rolling in. I have a feeling it's going to get rutted up some more today.

Shame... It doesn't matter if the temp is few degrees below freezing. If sun hits it, it will melt and if you ride over it, it will get ruts.

Ibisman keep the pics coming. I'll be riding road...

I wasn't being a smart ass. It seemed I needed to identify myself.

Your board name is brilliant by the way! In hindsight I wish I'd just used my name instead. It would have been much simpler.

Wouldn't it be nice if all those people putting ruts in the trail came and helped out during a volunteer trail day?

Anyway, the tree on the yellow trail is cleared correct? Both loops are clear of obstructions?

Sorry to the dude that bit it in front of the two women. We've all been there at one time or another.

Positive I cleared the tree on yellow. Can't say about the whole of both loops being clear. After going back to the lot to drop the saw we rode most of blue to yellow but bailed at the 2 mile mark because the sun was beginning to melt the trail.
