Anyone happen to know how IL is holding up after all the rain? I was hoping to head out there this morning.

It will certainly be a sloppy mess.

Sounds like I'm not going mountain biking then!

Rode Blue today, it was in real good shape. Of course there are a few muddy spots but not bad at all.

Trails in great shape with a few spots. Way better than it was a few weeks ago with the rain. I was very surprised.

Blue was in decent shape. Definitely rideable! Maybury was still closed when I went at 8:30 am yesterday.

Thanks to the feedback, I made it out this morning with my son. Blue was in excellent shape, but this was before the rain.

Did my blue, blue, yellow ride yesterday, and found that blue was in great shape. I noticed that there were quite a few duck/slappy/blind spots on yellow. I am planning to get in some more running/riding out there tomorrow or Thursday, and will get what I can. If there were a way to safely run and ravage nature with a scythe in a safe manner, I'd go ahead and do that. I'll just get my run in, and then walk yellow with my loppers. 18 days until Spartan BEAST

You should only need those loppers for a few remaining slappers between mile 3.5 & 4.5 on Yellow. The rest was chopped back last night.

Also, there is a log on Yellow that needs clearing a little after mile 6 that'll need a chain saw.

Thanks so much to the volunteers. I have alerted the DNR about the tree.

Just rode at 3 today. A little sloppy in places, but not bad considering. One thing to be careful of is the piles of brush trimmed off and just left in the middle of the trail. I would have feared for my rear deraillier had I been sporting one.
