I think I already know the answer but is hunting allowed anywhere on the Milford Trail?

No hunting. This is a city park.

tree down right at the bridge early in the loop (the one just before it turns into a 1-way trail...) needs a chainsaw...only able to get a half loop in due to a broken chain...grrrrr...(thanks to Cyclodan for bailing me out..) trail was a bit slick in a few spots but most likely perfect by tonight and rest of the week.

I Cut in a new section just past the golf course and repaired the pragmatics mud hole in the first half over the weekend.

That tree must have fallen last night... I will cut it out tomorrow .

What a cool trail! Did 4 laps this morning and the trail got better each lap. No trees down, tacky in spots and loose in others. A great fall ride.

Me too. It is a great trail...just trying to get people who have never been there to give it a try.

Does anyone know how this trail would be today after this dreary week?

Most likely will be good dries quickly, if this is any indication I rode Highland and this morning and it was pretty dry.

Trail was in great shape today.

I liked the signs on the tree: one complimenting Bill (signed Santa Cruz), and one reminding the sign-placer to slap Bill (anonymous). I agree with Santa Cruz here.

Di, Milford, Highland and Commerce all dry quite quickly. They are also 3 of the earliest trails to be ready after the thaw.

Rode this evening, trail is good. Top of a spruce tree is in the trail a little before the dam, just before you get to the grassy part near the golf course with the busted concrete on the right. Someone hacked a bypass to the left around the tree, trail is totally rideable. Tree's not very thick, a handsaw would probably take care of it.
