Rode it today. Ran into Bill and a group of others in the parking lot before my ride. The trail was very rideable. The trail was in great shape. Bill has put in a lot of work keeping deadfall off the trail, and with the quick drainage, I had my legs screaming for a break in no time. Great trail. A little above my ability, but I can't beat the location.

Rode it yesterday

Postby dnoyeb » April 8th, 2008, 9:24 am

I rode this trail yesterday. It does dry very quick. I think thats due to the side-sloping nature of most of the path. There are about 3 dips that have mud in them. These are at the bottom of a dip anyway, so It does not look like its causing any issue.

I was surprised to see small ponds still frozen over in there. And some snow on a hillside here and there. All in all the trail rode as it usually does. I have a brand new bike this year. Full suspension with clipless pedals too. I still busted my ass in the same location I did before :?

Only two muddy spots this afternoon. Neither of them was more than 10 feet long. The extra 20' of trail was interesting.

I rode out here last night too, and it was terrific. It was getting dark though, so I only did about 2 miles or so. You sure built an awesome trail Bill. Even down by the water, no mud.
