Riding is perfect on ice and light snow right now.

Thanks!
Kinda figured that for everything down here right now. Did Novi with my 26" and studs tues and it was still a bit sketchy.
Going to try Island Lake today with the Fat Bike. Will see how that goes.

Did you ride all 4 loops?

thanks!

6 of us rode tonight on a combination of fatbikes and 29'rs with and without studs. Fatbikes were fine, studs did good and no studs made it through ok. Lots of fun. As long as it doesn't warm up trail should be good to go.

Studs were more of a hindrance out there.

"Studs were more of a hindrance out there."

Curious, if it's snowy and icy, why would studs be a hindrance?

I ride studs at Novi, and it's incredible.

Not icy, just snowy out there. The studs were a hindrance for three reasons: narrower (therefore squirrelier on the soft snow), heavier and not tubeless, so I couldn't run as low a pressure as I would have liked.
