^ Probably Not. Just more runners and dogs to avoid now that it'll be more accessible. I always kind of liked how hidden bluffs was, oh well.

I cleared a couple of the low hanging logs over the trail in the Cedar Bend/Island Drive area. Two required ducking significantly and would probably need to be removed later, and a third actually required dismounting. Two of these were on the section of trail that includes the log bridge, and the last one was at the bottom section of the ridge trail. There is still a pretty large log laying across the trail at the beginning of the log bridge trail (that I have enjoyed riding over), but I don't have saw large enough to cut it.

What goes on at a chapter meeting? Should I come? If so, when/where?

If you want you can come, its a VERY open format walk-in/walk-out. at ABC brew co, usually start off chatting around 7pm with a few beers. main meeting starts at 730 (some people get dinner, I plan to). go over each trail in the chapter, whats going on with it, conditions, anything with DNR/City, work/maint plans, future plans, etc. Bill will be talking about some statewide issues from a meeting they had up north.

FINALLY got out last night and rode a bit. trail is in really good shape. Thanks to everyone who's grabbed a face/arm slapper over the past few weeks. for a trail that probably has one of the lowest number of riders, its one of the best shape trails right now. getting a bit sandy in spots, I keep forgetting my saw, just a few low-branches here and there.

trail is-a-rockin! the recent rain helped to hammer down some of the sandy spots, no mud. got out on Sat and rode most of it (my loop at least). face slappers are well under control, I still have to try and finish the trimming in barton park, been too busy...needs just a little more. I cleaned up the ridge a bit so it should ride a bit better. still need to bench cut it one of these months

there is one large tree down just off of (south of) cedar bend drive, if anyone has a chainsaw, our regular man is out of commision for a bit longer :( Someone there keeps removing the log pile logs so its rideable

Team JTree is coming into town tomorrow night for a ride on this local loop. We will be meeting at Bandemere at 6. Kevin will be leading. Anyone else want to join in, please feel free and welcome.

BCar...PM me and let me know exactly where that tree is down on Cedar Bend and I can take care of it. Thanks!

Sorry for the misinformation and late notice. They are meeting at Olson Park either 6 or 6:30. Same as before. All are welcome. Hope to see you, especially if I can get out the door now since my plans have changed a bit and are in need of adjustment.

Pretty big turnout last night, ~19 riders! I was rather late, wondering why I was the only one at Bandemere, LOL...

I think for the next one we need to split into groups, would help keep the flow better for everyone and not make others struggle to try to keep up and not get lost. oops...

Huge props to the dude who rode a lot of the DH and Ridge trail on a CX bike! woot woot! And thanks to D for the tube, mine was on the kitchen counter when I got home...grrr...

Jtree, nice group of peeps.

pm me if anyone ever wants to hit it up as a small group. 2.5 hrs becomes <1.5 hrs

Bcar, I'd be up for a guided tour some day. Like the avatar but can't be Mt Brighton... there are trees... and snow.
